Hey everyone! Today I’m sharing some tips and tricks on how to boost your immune system with the right kind of foods. Eating the right kinds of foods can be a great way to support your body’s natural defenses, so let’s get into it!

First off, try incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your diet. The antioxidants found in these delicious snacks will help to build up your immunity against infection and disease. Sources of Vitamin C are especially important for keeping your immune system strong – oranges, grapefruits, lemons, bell peppers, kale, spinach, and broccoli are all excellent sources! Additionally, adding garlic or onion to meals is an easy way to increase your intake of zinc, which helps repair cells damaged by viruses.

Another great way to boost your immunity is by adding probiotics. You can do this easily by eating fermented foods such as kimchi, sauerkraut, and yogurt. Probiotics are essential for balancing the good bacteria in our gut, which is essential for a strong immune system.

Finally, it’s important to make sure that you’re getting enough protein! Protein helps build up your cells’ defense mechanisms so that they can fight off infections more efficiently. Lean meats like chicken and turkey are great sources of protein, but if you don’t eat meat there are plenty of alternatives such as eggs, nuts and beans.

Here’s a quick shopping list to get you started on boosting your immune system:

– Oranges

– Grapefruits

– Lemons

– Bell peppers

– Kale

– Spinach

– Broccoli

– Garlic/Onion

– Kimchi, sauerkraut, yogurt (or other fermented foods)

– Lean meats such as chicken and turkey

– Eggs, nuts & beans.
